    Eramosa International is a specialist firm providing professional consulting engineering services to the Energy, Industrial, and Water/Wastewater sectors. We offer clients a holistic approach to developing and implementing technology solutions for process control applications meeting their business requirements.

    We provide assessment and planning services; conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs, and commissioning and construction support services. Our sister company Eramosa Engineering offers full networking, programming/integration, information technology, and SCADA System solutions.

    We are currently looking for individuals interested in a Lead Electrical Engineer role. The successful applicant must have experience in High-Voltage Substation design. They must have a good command of English, both written and verbal, to respond appropriately to client questions and contractors.

    • Demonstrated skills include 8-10 years' experience in high-voltage substation design deliverables such as single-lines, three-lines, protection and control schemes, cable and raceway drawings, ductbank drawings, etc.
    • Experience leading a substation design team and power system analysis software (ETAP, EasyPower, SKM, or equivalent)
    • Preparation of studies and technical report writing experience, technical specification development for related equipment and materials, and vendor drawing review for conformance to specifications
    • Ability to work remotely and in a team environment, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and Professional Engineering license with ability to obtain additional licenses in multiple states

    Preference will be given to candidates with experience designing Low and Medium Voltage electrical systems, preparation of commissioning procedures, and coordinating commissioning of equipment, and electrical and site safety training (e.g., OSHA 10-hour).

    This role involves leading designs for critical infrastructure across the Nation. Critical infrastructure relied upon by everyone in the communities it serves. If you are looking for a role combining client facility visits with remote work, then this role is for you.

    Professionals work from home on a permanent basis using company-supplied equipment. Travel to client sites may be required to support project needs. Current target markets include KS, CA, TN, FL, TX, OH, MO, MI, MS, NC, NE, and IL. Relocation expenses are not guaranteed but may be offered to select candidates.
