Description

Responsibilities:

Candidates are responsible for obtaining radiographic images on patients as needed in an urgent care environment. Patient demographics can range from adolescent to geriatric.
Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
Perform a variety of tasks involved in operating x-ray equipment

* -Explain x-ray procedures to patients.

Demonstrate acceptable film quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors, and collimation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program required.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS) required or within 90 days of hire

Training;

Classroom training for 3 days (Tue/Wed/Thurs)
Shadow shifts

Pay:
$ /hour
