Division of Gastroenterology Hepatology is recruiting a faculty member at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
Candidates must be board certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology andTransplant Hepatology (preferred), with specific expertise in the diagnosis and
management of patients with acute and chronic liver diseases.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Providing clinical services in the Hepatology clinics to includeboth clinics on the campus and in hepatology outreach locations;participating in the inpatient management of patients with liver conditions, withspecific expertise in the diagnosis and management of liver disorders; participatingas attending physician on the Digestive Health service; performing diagnostic and therapeutic and diagnostic endoscopic procedures.
Providing teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows in themanagement of patients with liver conditions, with specific expertise in thediagnosis and management of chronic liver disorders; providing training indiagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and studentenvironment or commitment to do so as a faculty member is required.
