Requirements

Responsiblities but not limited :

• Be a focal point for implementation of Infrastructure Tech Refresh projects taking direction from Customer Leadership as needed. The Tech Refresh includes replacing servers, storage, network switches, or other related infrastructure hardware/software.
  
• Facilitate updating and auditing asset management system. Ensure all IT infrastructure assets within scope are under maintenance and support contracts
  
• Perform continuous service improvement projects for data center as required.
  
• Coordinate and direct hands and feet support resources for data center operations.
  
• Perform Data Center/Server room cleanup activities such as proper cable management, ensuring dual power, and consolidation of equipment in racks.
  
• Ensure all Data Center/Server room comply with customer standards
  
• Assist SABIC team in yearly audits Data Center/Server room/IDF compliance
  
• Coordinate with customer designated vendor for proper disposal of assets by following SABIC standard procedures
  
• L2/L3 support for change requests related to data center operations
  
• Coordinate with asset owner teams to resolve any issues or new requirements related to physical appliances or cabling.
  
• Prepare or maintain rack diagrams, cabling information and related diagrams based on connectivity details for SABIC IT infrastructure assets in the data center.
  
• Troubleshooting ESX issues related to storage, network and performance issues
  
• Windows 2016/2019 R2 Server support and troubleshooting.
  

Requirements :

• Require in-depth understanding of VMware technologies, including vSphere/ESX, VMware View, vCenter, Site Recovery Manager, running in enterprise environments
  
• Minimum 8 plus Years of expert experience working with Vmware, Windows and Backup products including hands on experience in migration projects.
  
• Experience in Windows server 2003/2008/R2/2012/2016/2019, RAC mount servers, HP C3000/C7000 Install/Configuration Management/troubleshooting
