    :

    SUMMARY: Under direct supervision, performs and documents facilities functions.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs and documents repairs and maintenance of buildings and related equipment.
  • Sets up, adjusts and operates facility equipment.
  • Performs self‐inspections of own work.
  • When applicable, follows standard operating procedures for all tasks.
  • Maintains clean and orderly work area.
  • Has completed all appropriate safety and environmental hazard training.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental compliance
  • Supervision: Receive guidance with respect to general objectives; in the majority of tasks and projects assigned, determine methods, work sequence, scheduling, and how to achieve objectives of assignments; operate within specific policy guidelines.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of engineering studies in pursuit of a Bachelor's Engineering degree.

    OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES :

  • Ability to read and understand documentation associated with specific discipline.
  • Ability to read, write, communicate and understand English.
  • Ability to offer ideas and or troubleshooting options regarding equipment remediations.
  • Must be able to successfully complete company/department training courses as assigned.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing technical/engineering role
  • MANUAL DEXTERITY : Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers.

    VISION REQUIREMENTS: No special vision requirements

    WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS: Monday – Friday.

    TRAVEL: None

    ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS

    Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned manufacturing setting with adequate ventilation.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Other physical working conditions:

    Moderate but consistent noise (examples: manufacturing environment with heavy industrial machinery in use)

    PHYSICAL ACTIVITY LEVEL:

    Physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily industrial manufacturing setting.
