- The Network Engineer will review existing network & NetApp filer configurations and practices, and recommend refinements, improvements, and performance enhancements to align with industry best practices and security compliance requirements.
- The Network Engineer will also provide system administration, system backups and troubleshooting to the network (Windows/Unix/LINUX) servers and NetApp filer storage array
- Advanced degree and 7+ years' experience or bachelor's with 9+ years' experience or equivalent
- Must meet DoD 8570 Information Assurance Workforce (IAWF) criteria or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification at time of hire (i.e., Security+).
- Experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows/UNIX/LINUX servers and network IT infrastructure.
- Experience with maintaining Oracle database servers
- Experience with developing and debugging related scripts in UNIX shell scripting languages, Perl, or python.
- Good understanding of software and database development processes
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
- The applicant selected for this position must have and be able to maintain an Active Security Clearance.
