72481Job DescriptionValidation Engineers' core focus is to create the linkage between design, characterization, and production test. The engineer will decipher and convert the customer's specification into a workable test solution. This involves both software and hardware development.

In addition, the candidate will work in an interdisciplinary team supporting the down selection, characterization, and device validation of WiFi RF front-end modules for the wireless industry.

The ability to tune & optimize Power Amplifiers and Low Noise Amplifiers is a desired skillset.

A successful Validation Engineer will possess knowledge of RF measurement equipment as well as test software development.

A strong understanding of RF fundamentals, analog design concepts, PA concepts, wireless knowledge, test equipment operation and test equipment automation is critical for success.

Experience in software development methodologies and C/C++ programming skills are desirable. The candidate must demonstrate capability to operate in a multi-disciplinary team and adhere to project schedules. Familiarity with WiFi standards and component requirements is desired.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $87,600 - $167,900 per year.

Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
