We have a client in Richmond, VA in need of a Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech)

Focus Staff is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) who is motivated and energetic.

Contract Assignment – 13 Weeks (Temporary)
Shift: 4x10 Days

Compassion and sensitivity are essential. The ideal candidates are critical thinkers and quick to respond to emergencies.

Requirements:

Certificate or diploma from an approved school of Radiologic/Ultrasound Technology program.
National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent.
Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty, RVT/RCS/RDCS or equivalent, required within 18 months of hire.
BLS certification required.
Effective communication, human relations, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
AHA ACLS Provider Course completion within 12 months of employment, required.
CCRN preferred Skilled Nursing experience and psychiatric/mental health hospital or outpatient clinic experience preferred.
Proficiency as a Polysomnographic Technologist and Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

Work Experience: Minimum 2 years
