    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    This position is a part of the development team working on predevelopment and active deals during the application, predevelopment, development and post construction phases to assist in securing tax credits and financing, closing with agencies and lenders, monitoring costs during construction and assisting with the final close out of funding sources and equity

    PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Provide full complement of support to the Real Estate Vice President of Development and Executive Staff in implementing multi-pronged, place-based real estate development strategy throughout all project phases (site acquisition, contracts, programming, design, financing, construction, leasing/marketing).Work closely with the Real Estate Vice President on financial analysis, asset management, and administrative support.

    Lead non-competitive and competitive applications across multiple States.

    Coordinate completion of soft funding applications (Housing Trust Funds, Federal Home Loan Bank, etc.)Provide accurate documentation, reporting, and data collection to ensure compliance with various funding sources.

    Oversee firms data management system ensuring organization and ease of accessOther duties as assigned.


    RequirementsPERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
    Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, Urban Planning, Construction or related field or equivalent and commensurate experience.
    A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in project management, design, planning, real estate, property management or construction.
    Strong analytical and financial management skills; including underwriting.
    Energetic, organized, and highly motivated person with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    Flexibility and willingness to do a variety of tasks.
    Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
    Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.

    Ability to perform a variety of duties and responsibilities with consistent accuracy, attention to detail, and speed under the pressure of time-sensitive deadlines.

    Must take initiative, analyze assignments, identify sub-tasks, prioritize, and keep various assignments moving simultaneously.
    Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

    Working knowledge or experience with city programs, public funding sources, public policy, design, property management and/or construction of real estate.

    Knowledge of Various State Housing Regulations, Tax Credit Submission Guidelines, Permitting Process, or Construction Management.
    Knowledge of USDA Rural Development programs is a plus.
    Be able to delegate and provide management assistance to junior staff.
    Demonstrated interest in affordable housing either through professional organizations, course work, or volunteer activities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
