A Brief Overview
Ultrasound technologist performs diagnostic medical sonograms at a technical level requiring sound understanding of anatomy measurements and abnormal or suspicious anatomy; a high degree of technical competency and with the ability to act with initiative and ingenuity with minimal supervision.
- Review outpatient orders prior to day of procedure to ensure accuracy and to avoid delay in patient care.
- Provide excellent patient care by educating and preparing patients for their procedure while utilizing effective communication.
