    Sr, Market Insights Manager

    Location:
    Franklin, TN

    This team leader will work through themselves and their direct reports to provide actional recommendations to brand teams and the US Petcare leadership team, but utilizing market data and other external inputs from multiple data sources to develop a clear picture of the pet category.

    This associate will need to be able to add value to data through analytics and strategic thinking. They will partner with other Market Insights team members and engage directly with high level stakeholders.
    What are we looking for?
    Bachelor's Degree
    MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred
    7+ years of experience in insights/analytics/market research or strategic consulting roles with direct experience utilizing syndicated data sources
    Experience which demonstrates ability to craft stories from data, adding value through analytics and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team environment
    Thinks strategically and creatively, has deep curiosity that drives investigation
    Understanding and usage of analytical frameworks
    1+ years of demonstrated team leadership and/or line management experience
    Data visualization through MS Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau and/or Power BI
    Preferred Qualifications
    5+ years of experience in insights/analytics/market research or strategic consulting role with direct experience utilizing Nielsen and other syndicated data sources
    Insights experience at a leading CPG and/or within the food/beverage space or pet food category
    Experience working in a global business with broad network of stakeholders
    What will be your responsibilities?
    Be the voice of the category, leading consultative relationship with Marketing and driving strategic planning for portfolio choices
    Develop consultative relationship with brand VPs and Business Management Teams, providing insight on the broader category, supporting analytics projects, and guiding strategy development
    Lead a team of associates, guiding them to provide value-added recommendations and strategic thinking across the category
    Drive 'Thought Leadership' projects and deep analytics to drive new thinking and pushes behavior changes within the organization to align with best practices
    Champion business growth through a deep understanding of the market; translates insights into portfolio and brand growth strategies
    Investigate opportunities by identifying portfolio gaps and emerging trends that drive business results by uncovering market, brand, channel, and consumer trends
