- Assist in designing, developing, and implementing test equipment.
- Audit final products for quality before shipment.
- Perform production inspections and testing.
- Conduct initial power-ups of control panels.
- Collaborate with various departments to resolve issues.
- Occasionally assist with demonstrating equipment to customers.
- Report technical failures promptly.
- 2-year Degree in Electronics OR experience with some form of Control Systems.
- Ability to work independently and safely.
- Effective communication with all levels of personnel.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, relay logic drawings, and more.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Positive attitude and teamwork aptitude.
- Flexibility for overtime when required.
- Attention to detail.
- Familiarity with electrical testing equipment.
- Adaptability to different software tools.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Knowledge of fundamental Electro-Mechanical concepts.
- Experience with Relay Ladder Logic and PLC troubleshooting.
- Understanding of industrial panel design.

Job Description:
We are seeking an Electrical Controls Technician to join our team at our Girard, Ohio location. This pivotal role is in our Panel Shop where we build control panels for large scale industrial engines and involves ensuring the quality of all control panel products before shipment. Collaborating closely with the Panel Engineering and Production Teams, as well as occasionally interacting with Sales and Logistics, this position is integral to ensuring the delivery of superior products to our valued customers. This is a full-time hourly position, operating on a day shift, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime requirements to meet production demands.
