Description
Job Title:
Manufacturing Automation Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities:
Translate user requirements into functional design and technical concepts
Provide advanced technical solutions and lead teams
Apply engineering principles creatively to solve manufacturing problems
Conduct plant assessments and define project scopes
Support RFQ/RFI processes and evaluate vendor quotes
Assist in proposal preparation and project acquisition
Coordinate project teams and manage stakeholders
Ensure customer satisfaction and future engagement
Limited travel required for project matters
Required Skills:
Project management and automation project execution
Customer and stakeholder management
Vendor management and RFQ processes
Plant and process assessments
Interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft software
Critical thinking and problem-solving
Basic CAD skills (desirable)
Hands-on experience in manufacturing automation
Strong mechanical engineering and control automation knowledge
Experience in robotic and automation work cell layouts
Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
Familiarity with electrical schematics
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of relevant work experience
Industry Experience:
Preferred:
Truck & Off-Highway Manufacturing
Note:
CAD experience is desirable but not mandatory. KUKA Robotics experience is preferred but not mandatory.
