*$1500 SIGN ON BONUS*The Lutheran Home is accepting applications for our Full-time Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) position within our health center. We are seeking CNAs that have a heart for providing compassionate care to our residents and have a positive attitude. We have openings on our day and night shift. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Answer residents' calls and take appropriate action.
Assists with daily personal care functions.
Assists with the feeding of residents.
Assists in turning and positioning of residents.
Transfer residents using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for accident prevention as indicated on the care plan.
Perform skin checks and notify the nurse of any abnormalities in skin integrity.
Helps keep residents' rooms clean and supplied.
Make/change beds (unoccupied and occupied).Ambulate residents who require minimal assistance.
Weigh residents using upright, chair and mechanical lift scale.
Demonstrates appropriate knowledge for safe use of medical equipment Communicates residents' requests or concerns in a timely manner.
Immediately report any abuse, neglect, and/or changes in resident's conditions or incidents to the nurse.

In this full-time position you will have a set 2-week schedule with every other weekend off, working 7 out of 14 calendar days.

We are hiring for our day shift working the hours of 6:45 am - 7:15 pm and our night shift with the schedule of 6:45 pm - 7:15 am.
