    Our client, a PE-backed telecom provider, is hiring for a Director/VP FP&A The business has strong positioning as #2 in their regional industry.

    Growth will continue both organically and through select acquisitions.

    This position offers internal growth options as well as exposure to a large portfolio of advancement opportunities through the private equity sponsors.

    Requirements

    Tearing apart financial analyses & building theses around certain metrics
    Challenge assumptions & showing a deep level of curiosity and willingness to dive into the details
    Build management presentations for key investment initiatives (acquisitions & projects)
    Working with management consultants (Alvarez & Marsal). Will be some hand offs between what the consultants build and what this individual steps into.
    Running month-end FP&A process to recalibrate forecasts & challenge business performance variance
    Partnering w/ CFO to digest forecasting variances and disseminate information to operating leaders to course correct and/or execute upon new opportunities
    Mentoring and training FP&A team
    Grow into heavy player within exec-level operations & CFO-lite responsibilities
    Responsibilities

    Ability to collaborate effectively and build relationships with colleagues.
    Demonstrated organizational skills and self-starter mentality with a focus on best practices and process improvement.
    Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and logical formulas.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Agency Management Systems.
    Proven ability to assess all financial aspects of the company, creatively solve problems, and proactively engage with senior management.
    Bachelor's degree in finance.

    Research and evaluate short and long-term economic trends and project their impact on future growth in sales and market share.

    Identify opportunities for expansion into new product areas.
