- Interview preparation: Providing guidance and support in preparing for job interviews, including practicing interview skills and providing feedback.
- On-the-job training: Providing one-on-one training tailored to the individual's needs, ensuring they understand their job duties and can perform them accurately.
- Support with job duties: Assisting the individual in learning and carrying out their job responsibilities, including providing ongoing support and guidance as needed.
- Collaboration with employers: Building relationships with employers and advocating for the needs of the individual with a disability in the workplace.
- Monitoring progress: Regularly assessing the individual's progress on the job and providing feedback for improvement and growth.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution: Assisting the individual in resolving work-related challenges or conflicts that may arise.
- 18 years of age or older (required)
- Minimum of High School Diploma/GED
- ACRE, APSE, or CESP Certified (required)
- Have a Current, Non-Provisional Driver's License valid in the state of operation.
- Experience with the developmentally disabled or as a job coach.
- Empathetic and have a team approach to care for the individuals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor.
- Willing to undergo drug testing and background check.
