    Mission:

    Act as the executive sponsor and senior leader across multiple client projects to ensure high quality delivery of marketing technology, analytics, revenue operations, and growth projects. Responsible for client retention and growth with a high labor efficiency.

    Responsible for:

    • Engage with client executive leadership to ensure goal alignment, and identify opportunities to help improve client outcomes and deepen our relationships
    • Act as the point of escalation for all client concerns, resolving conflicts with hospitality, and holding all parties accountable
    • Lead multiple client project teams, acting as client advocate, coach, and sometimes as a direct contributor
    • Understanding clients needs and objectives to develop revenue-generating strategies, tech stacks, and omnichannel tactics
    • Establish goals and metrics to ensure the team and client have a common understanding of scope and objectives
    • Review project teams' work to catch errors and provide feedback, coaching, correction, and processes to improve future projects
    • Ensuring all client projects are on budget and profitable
    • Meeting with clients often to provide leadership, strategy and direction.
    • Correctly scope and estimate new projects to ensure profitability.
    • Provide Sales team with guidance on resource availability and start dates/staffing for new engagements
    • Reporting and analyzing growth projects to ensure they are exceeding the client's expectations
    • Conduct weekly coaching and one on one meetings with the team

    Skills, talents, and experiences needed to create superior results.

    • 8+ years of experience working in consulting (strategy & operations, technology), agency or other similar roles managing complex programs with multiple projects/workstreams
    • Able to lead and consult on highly technical projects, including strategies and integrations with:
      • Customer Data Platforms (Segment preferred)
      • Analytics (Amplitude preferred)
      • Marketing Automation (Braze or Marketo preferred)
      • CRM and revenue operations (Salesforce or HubSpot preferred)
    • Service focused, deliver a positive, professional and consultative customer experience
    • Data-driven mindset with proven experience utilizing metrics & insights as tools for informed decision-making
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key client stakeholders.
    • Act as the main point of contact between the agency and clients, ensuring excellent communication and client satisfaction.
    • Proactive, plan ahead, thinking in long term time frames as well as short time frames. Planning the team's resources while keeping tasks within scope and on time.
    • An extreme eye for detail and has a preference for high quality good looking products, websites and design
    • Clear communication skills that can speak with authority, while also understanding that they have two ears for listening.
    • Curious to a fault, and wants to make sure they ask clarifying questions to ensure there are no assumptions and all parties are aligned.
    • Ability to communicate complex technical challenges with a client and ensure they understand the value, impact or consequence of decisions.

    Observable indicators to let you know you are performing well in this role.

    • Client Strategy: Lead client growth and optimization strategy to identify revenue opportunities to have a 6-month roadmap for your clients
    • Client Happiness: Secure approval from the client to conduct either a case study or video testimonial of their project at 3 months, 6 months, and/or at project completion 85% of the time.
    • Client Retention: Retain 80% of clients in recurring contracts over a rolling 3-month period
    • Project performance: Achieve a labor efficiency ratio of 3.0+ on client projects by your 90th day
    • Client Expansion: Expand project size/scope/revenue 10% of the time by the third month of work with a client
    • Client performance: Accomplish 90% of the client's objectives during the project timeline

    Job Description:

    As an Account Director, you will act as the executive lead across multiple client project teams. You will act as the client's internal advocate within McGaw, and the point of escalation for your clients, and also contribute directly to engagements as a senior advisor, strategist and quarterback.

    The objective of the Account Director is to understand client needs/objectives, help develop strategies, and ensure the project teams are executing projects in a timeline and profitable manner.

    You will interface directly with client executives and will carry responsibility for alignment on project scope, budget, and resolving any client conflicts that need more senior interaction.

    As an Account Director, you have broad experience in marketing technologies, data, and associated strategies to grow revenue. You have a clear idea of how marketing strategy tied with the tech stack increases revenue.

    Account Directors begin working with a client during the sales process, and continues to be responsible for the retention and growth of client accounts. Engagements could include strategic consulting, technology implementation, or ongoing retainers.

    It is the Account Director's responsibility to help sales build estimates and scopes of work. Once a deal is closed, the Account Director will delegate the project to an account team for execution, or in some cases lead accounts directly.

    For someone to be successful in this role they will need to be able to effectively and independently communicate the scope of work and the progress in technical and layman terms to the client. They will need to work well with the client's team to problem solve, schedule and scope urgent requests from a client or team member. Being able to schedule resources for short-term and long-term goals while staying under budget is key to success in this position.
