Overview: As a custodian, your primary responsibility is to maintain cleanliness and orderliness within a designated facility. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the premises are clean, sanitary, and safe for employees and visitors. Hours are 10 am- 6pm

Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:

• Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility. Sanitize surfaces regularly, including door handles, windows, and common areas, to prevent the spread of germs and maintain hygiene standards. Cleaning the lunchroom several times daily.
• Trash Removal: Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated disposal areas. Sort recyclable materials appropriately and ensure compliance with recycling policies.
• Restroom Maintenance: Clean and disinfect restrooms thoroughly multiple times a day, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, walls and floors. Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels as needed.
• Floor Care: Perform routine maintenance on all floors, including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing. Identify and report any damage or safety hazards related to flooring. Will be required to run the floor scrubbers and clean in the plant daily.
• Supply Management: Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify the appropriate personnel when supplies need to be replenished. Ensure that cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.
• Assisting with Special Events: Provide support during special events or gatherings by setting up and arranging furniture, cleaning before and after events, and assisting with any additional tasks as needed.
• Reporting Maintenance Issues: Identify maintenance issues or repairs needed within the facility and report them to the appropriate department or supervisor promptly.
• Adhering to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Use protective equipment such as gloves and masks when handling hazardous materials or chemicals.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Compensation details: 20-20 Hourly Wage
