    Document Control And Draftsperson Specialist to join our team

    The Facility Planning and Construction Document Controller and Draftsperson is fully responsible for receiving, maintaining, disseminating, and documenting all construction and facility related documents, while ensuring accuracy and all base plans and fire life safety plans.

    The Document Controller and Draftsperson will also be responsible for reorganizing all existing archived electronic documents for each facility across the system.

    This role will work closely with the project managers, project coordinators, and Director system facility planning and construction management.

    Responsible for gathering site information to accurately draft plans for any buildings that do not have existing base files and will provide REVIT models for larger campus facility buildings.

    Responsible for working with consultants in project, kickoff, development, and understanding/implementation of a Aspirus CAD and REVIT standards that will support our consultants work and provide a seamless transition between Aspirus-based drawings and construction drawings provided by our consultants.

    Responsible for maintaining a strong and professional, working relationship with all teammates, contractors, facility, maintenance, and vendors. Will support consultants, team, and vendors as needed.
    Will also support other technical needs of the team, including items, required for planning, construction, and presentations.


    HOURS:
    Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Day shift, flexibility in workday hours is acceptable in this position.
    Experience/Qualifications
    Associate degree or completion of trade, school or equivalent, formal training required.
    Bachelors degree in architecture, engineering, or another related technical field preferred.
    6+ years of working experience with at least four years of architecture or construction firm experience.

    Expert/highproficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, AutoDesk, BIM 360, and electronic file transfer systems (Liquid Files, Box, DropBox, etc.) and project collaboration software (Procore, AutoDesk Construction Cloud, Newforma, etc.).

    Proficient REVU BlueBeam, Outlook, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Microsoft 360.
    Familiarity with building codes, construction details, standard architectural elements (wall partitions, door types, etc)
    Must work well in a fast paced, hi change frequency, results, oriented environment.

    Self-starter, who can ask questions as needed in an efficient way that does not disrupt the workflow of the team.

    Independent worker who can also collaborate well with others.
    Ability to speak, and understand, technical industry jargon.

    Ability to discuss technical terms of AutoCAD and REVIT with others, who may not have the same level of experience.

    Must be a team player and have is collaborating with others on a regular basis.
    Annual competencies as required by a Aspirus, and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
