- CNC machining experience and/or training certification
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read, understand and interpret prints
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments
- Ability to complete reports and documentation
- Must be able to read and understand written directions and procedures
- Working knowledge of proper tool positions, functions, settings, feed and speed rates as it relates to insert wear and chip formation
- Sound troubleshooting and problem solving skills related to product processing and ability to modify programs or equipment to correct requirements
- Experience with MasterCam would be a plus
