We are recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced

Senior Accountant to join a reputable and growingcompany in Richmond, VA. The position will be responsible for assisting with day to day accounting responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.

Serve as liaison between Finance and other business units for all day-to-day operational issues.

Verify and analyze business records, transactions, and procedures.

Substantiate financial transactions by reconciling and auditing documents.

Prepare and review monthly financial statements.

Prepare ad-hoc reports/analysis as needed by collecting, analyzing and summarizing accounting information and trends.

Review sales tax system for compliance.

Prepare schedules for monthly reviews and participate in year-end audit coordination.

Maintain the general ledger, prepare tax returns, assist with audit preparation, and other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance (CPA preferred)

3+ years of accounting experience

Multi-subsidiary accounting experience preferred

NetSuite experience preferred (or other large to mid-size ERP system experience)
