- Assist CoMC faculty with applying for grants to support the growth of the college's in-person and online/distance course offerings
- Aid in identifying and developing opportunities for CoMC faculty to pursue a broad range extramural funding sources.
- Serve as a liaison with research development personnel from university central administration as well as proposal developers from other units across campus and partner institutions to facilitate interdisciplinary funding proposals.
- Help develop proposals in partnership with individual faculty, research teams from within the College, or interdisciplinary clusters examining diverse subjects
- Assist faculty with editing of proposal content (e.g., research plan, project narrative, etc).
- Assist faculty in submission of proposals through TTU Office of Research Services
- Communication/media educational, professional background, or subject area depth of knowledge and appreciation
- Experience in grant writing and/or technical writing
- Appreciation for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Basic knowledge of budgeting

These proposals, requesting contributions, are submitted to individuals, corporations, foundations, and governmental entities. Responsibilities include assignments from, as well as, coordinating the efforts of faculty and staff to produce high-quality grant proposals.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, journalism or related field. Three years experience in proposal/technical writing. Education and experience can exchange on a year-for-year basis.
