    Description
    Tasks:
    • Lead cross functional teams to complete project milestones on time.
    • Leverage interpersonal skills to create highly functioning teams.
    • Create and manage project timelines. Measure progress to plan. Identify tasks that are behind or are at risk of becoming behind. Lead team to identify countermeasures to get back on schedule. Be curious and ask questions to get the true status of tasks.
    • Clearly and concisely communicate to the team and to management. Create presentation material and reports as required.
    • Follow Dodge gate process. Create and/or manage required documents at each step.
    • Lead teams to identify solutions to any problems encountered. Be a self-starter and take the initiative to solve problems and get any help needed.
    • Use software tools available to increase individual and team efficiency.
    • The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, disciplined and able to perform effectively against clearly defined goals and objectives.
    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in engineering AND at least 3 years of project management experience in manufacturing and/or product development engineering.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    Bearing, gearing and/or power transmission component product experience

    Proven history of creativity applied towards design challenges

    Excellent project management skills

    Advanced written and oral communication skills

    Entrepreneurial spirit

    Lean Six Sigma Green Belt methodology and certification

    Exceptional analytical and leadership skills
    Highly collaborative, results oriented change agent
    Ability to work in USA without Visa assistance
    Strong analytic skills with an emphasis on critical thinking, root cause analysis, and problem solving

    Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Dodge Mechanical, Inc. in the US
