    Description

    Position Summary:

    • Starting salary of $19.32 per hour.
    • Looking for immediate hire of Detention Officer for high-quality care in a correctional setting.
    • You would be responsible for maintaining order and security of inmates at all times.
    • Specific duties include direct supervision of inmates while they participate in meals, recreation, work assignments, and all other forms of activities.
    • You may have to employ weapons or force to maintain discipline and order.
    • Qualified military personnel encouraged to apply.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • High school diploma, GED certification or its equivalent required.
    • Valid driver's license is required.
    • Ability to work any shift.
    • At least 18 years of age.
