    Herndon VA (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
    USC with Active Secret Clearance or Higher

    Navitas Business Consulting is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to support an Enterprise client in the Herndon VA office. This role would focus on supporting the team with Design, implement, and maintain a platform that provides secure access to extensive datasets.

    Responsibilities:
    • Design, implement, and maintain a platform that provides secure access to extensive datasets.
    • Collaborate with various business clients, collect requirements, and provide comprehensive data solutions.
    • Architect and build scalable end-to-end data infrastructure and pipelines.
    • Develop tools and services that aid in data discovery, lineage, resilience, and adherence to privacy standards across the data platform.
    • Take charge of the design, development, and upkeep of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc., to inform critical business decisions.
    • Create an ETL pipeline that connects diverse datasets in the most efficient manner to meet analysis goals.
    • Tackle and resolve issues at their core, taking a step back to grasp the wider context.
    • Possess knowledge and comprehension of a wide array of Amazon's and AWS's data resources, discerning when and how to utilize them effectively.
    • Stay abreast of developments in big data technologies and conduct pilot projects to evolve the data architecture in line with growing data volumes using AWS.
