    fs3|Hodges is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Project Engineer to join our team.

    The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of various construction projects, from inception to completion.

    Projects will include tenant improvements, renovation, infrastructure, site work, etc at CSULB.


    Salary Range:
    $110,000 - $120,000

    Responsibilities

    Provide on-site technical and administrative support to the construction manager.

    Responsible for project document control, i.e. RFIs, submittals, change orders, ASIs, etc.

    Organize and maintain project files

    Assist CM with change order management.

    The PE shall be able to independently review change order requests for merit and fair pricing, and prepare change orders for processing.

    Manage the closeout and turn over process.

    Assist CM to prepare project files for CSU system audit at project completion.

    Site conditions verification and support as needed.

    Requirements

    3-6+/- years of project engineer experience, including major capital projects

    Institutional/Higher Ed experience preferred

    CSU experience is a plus but not required

    Design-Build or CM at Risk Experience is a plus but not required

    Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials

    Proficient in construction management software, such as Procore or Primavera P6

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
