    COLLECTOR - Medical Collections

    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Insurance Collector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full accounts receivable cycle, including verification of benefits, secondary insurance filings, and collection procedures on delinquent accounts.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of coding/billing processes, with experience in third party reimbursement, coding and collections. Additionally, they should possess excellent communication skills and be able to read and interpret documents in English.

    • A high school graduate or equivalent with medical terminology and coding courses is preferred;
    • TWO TO FOUR YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THIRD PARTY REIMBURSEMENT,CODING AND COLLECTIONS;
    KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES:
    PARTICIPATES IN OPPORTUNITIES FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION.Demonstrates ability to utilize recognized channels of communication.and Demonstrates reading understanding an EOB from insurance payers .Demonstrates ability maintain good interpersonal relationships patients coworkers other health team members.Leads positive action diversity workplace results multi-cultural organization
