- Checks supplies and equipment prior to each surgery.
- Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment and medications/solutions needed for procedure.
- Performs appropriate counts with circulator prior to the operation and before incision is closed.
- Gowns and gloves the surgeon and assistants.
- Assists in draping sterile field.
- Passes instruments, etc., to surgeon during procedures.
- Prepares sterile dressings.
- Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization.
- Assists others with terminal cleaning of room.
- Assists in prepping room for next patient.
- Stock adequate supplies for surgeries and track surgical supplies.
- Provide great patient assistance and care.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be certified (CST) going through an accredited training program and passing the exam with a CST or TS-C certification.
- 2+ year's experience as CST, preferably in a surgery center.
- Strong knowledge of CST operations and medical terminology.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem solving and decision making skills as well as strong analytical skills.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- SPD experience will be a plus

For over 20 years, Blossom Bariatrics and Warm Springs Surgical Center have earned a worldwide reputation for gastric sleeve, gastric bypass and complex revisional cases.
We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Tech at our Warm Springs Surgery Center for a per diem/part time (8-12 hrs per day) position.
The CST will assist with the surgical operations in our facility. They will be tasked with preparing and sterilizing the operating rooms, as we as the necessary equipment and instruments prior to surgery. They also assist with preparing patients for surgery as need and help to provide a great patient experience overall
