    Position Description:

    Sprezzatura is seeking an experienced Strategic Planner to enhance our team dedicated to the Office of Enterprise Integration (OEI) at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role involves leading the development of strategic initiatives and guiding the VA's strategic direction to improve the integration and effectiveness of services provided to Veterans. The Strategic Planner will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure strategies are aligned with the principles of the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) Modernization Act. The role demands a strong focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement within VA's strategic frameworks.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Planning and Advisory:
      • Provide expert advice and support in the development of strategic goals, objectives, and strategies.
      • Assist in linking VA-wide strategic goals with programmatic outcomes through effective planning and evaluation processes.
    • Performance Measure Development:
      • Support the creation and refinement of performance measures and targets that enhance the linkage between strategic goals and actual programmatic outcomes across the VA.
    • Programmatic Outcome Improvement:
      • Facilitate the implementation of strategies that aim to improve VA programmatic outcomes and ensure alignment with broader organizational goals.
    • Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination:
      • Engage with key stakeholders within the VA to ensure strategic initiatives are aligned and integrated with ongoing programs and operations.
      • Coordinate with different VA departments to support strategic initiatives and performance evaluations.

    Required Qualifications:

    • BA/BS degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Information Systems or related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in strategic planning, performance measurement, or a closely related field, preferably within government or healthcare sectors
    • In-depth knowledge of strategic planning processes and performance measurement.
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively engaging and influencing various stakeholders.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with project management software.

    This position is fully remote, allowing the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States. Please note, due to the requirements of this contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs, candidates must reside in the U.S. and work may not be performed from outside the country.
