Ultrasound Job Description:

The Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound procedures and related techniques, including, but not limited to applying sonic energy to produce data at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.

All procedures are completed in accordance with American Society of Radiologic Technologist and other regulatory agency protocols and organizational policies, procedures and protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:
Formal training in Sonography at an approved Sonographer school required. RDMS/ARDMS required. Registry eligible in diagnostic imaging or other modalities preferred. SDMS and/or ARRT in diagnostic imaging or other modalities preferred. Hospital or Medical office OB/GYN ultrasonography experience required. Proficient in other ultrasound studies (eg., DVT, Abdominal, small parts) including ultrasound guided biopsies preferred.
