    Plant Manager (food manufacturer)

    Location:

    Lebanon, INTarget pay rate: $120K-$150K As the Plant Manager, you'll ensure the safe, high-quality, and efficient production of frozen value-added products at our cutting-edge facility in Lebanon, IN.

    Your primary focus will be on maintaining top-notch safety, quality, and productivity standards across all processing and packaging operations.

    Reporting directly to the Director of Frozen Manufacturing, you'll lead and oversee the Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Sanitation teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence.


    Responsibilities:
    Develop and maintain a streamlined organizational structure with clearly defined roles and responsibilities to achieve our operational objectives.

    Lead the plant management team in executing all operational activities with excellence, ensuring consistent adherence to effective policies and procedures.

    Foster and uphold a robust food safety and quality culture through clear planning and ongoing improvement initiatives.
    Spearhead team-driven projects aimed at enhancing product quality, optimizing processes, and improving the overall work environment.
    Drive maximum utilization effectiveness of labor, materials, and equipment.

    Take charge of training and development initiatives for the workforce in collaboration with department managers, designing and implementing programs to enhance performance and safety.

    Conduct thorough job performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and take proactive steps to boost workforce engagement.
    Ensure strict compliance with internal policies and relevant external and legal requirements.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's Degree coupled with a minimum of 10 years of experience in food manufacturing.
    Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
    A proven track record of creative problem-solving and innovation.
    Strong leadership, presentation, and team-building capabilities.
    Ability to effectively engage and collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
