    Job Summary and Qualifications

    As a Float Registered Nurse, you will provide care to a variety of patients throughout our Hospital. You will be lending your knowledge and experience to Step-Down, MS, OSS, and Neuro Trauma units.

    You will have premium pay plus shift differentials. Schedule: 2 12-hr shifts; 7a - 7p plus rotating weekends.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
    • Care for acutely ill patients in units as determined by the Float Pool agreement.

    Requirements:

    • Graduate of school of nursing required. BSN preferred.
    • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
    • BLS required upon hire. ACLS required within 2 months of hire.
    • Must have three (3) years acute care experience in the areas of Med Surg, Tele, PCU, Neuro Trauma.
