- 5+ years' experience in a software development role or similar
- Strong experience of DevOps and Agile methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and to work under pressure, excellent communication and organizational skills, adaptability, supervisory and coaching skills
- Expert in software development and management, and knowledge of a broad range of technologies such as the cloud (AWS and/or Azure), Oracle, MongoDB, AngularJS/HTML5, ASP.NET, C#, Web API, Web application development, NPM, WPF and MVVM architectures, WCF Services and SOA, MS TFS, Git, OO Design
- Educated to degree level in an IT, computer science or a similar technology or engineering discipline
- Knowledge of commodity trading and/or the energy business
- Fluent in English; competency in French is advantageous
- Develop system/application evolutions and fixes according to business specifications, and ensure adherence to best practice, test strategies and deployment standards
- Contribute to the architectural and technical decisions related to software development
- Contribute to the definition and enhancement of the standards, procedures and guidelines of development
- Provide technical support and assistance to BA's and other contributors for specifications and testing
- Define and/or control the design of the software development/ enhancement with the support of the Solution Architect and/or Tech Lead, and according to the project specifications and type: tactical, strategic.

In this role, you will be responsible for the software development and integration of a range of systems/applications from the gas and power trading landscape and contribute to activities within the project portfolio of the Trading & Risk Management subdomain. You will be responsible for the technical support of the systems/applications within your systems scope.

Context and environment
TotalEnergies Gas & Power Trading (TGP) and its affiliates has a large and complex systems environment, which is evolving with the expansion of the power trading business and its impact on trading IT. This role is global and focuses on the tools used by gas and power teams and the integration into the overall trading and risk management systems. Core Trading Systems and Risk, Reporting & Compliance teams will support trading support, front office and finance teams with performant trading and related systems.
