    Merrimack College's Department of Computer and Data Sciences in the School of Engineering and Computational Sciences invites applications for a full-time, open rank, non-tenure track faculty position to teach in the Bachelor of Science in Data Science and the online Master of Science in Data Science programs.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching graduate-level courses in machine learning, infographics, Python and R programming, statistics, and other related subjects within our M.S.

    in Data Science curriculum.

    Develop courses for the data science programs, ensuring they align with industry standards and emerging trends.

    Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in data science to ensure course content is up-to-date and aligned with industry needs.

    Mentor and guide students toward academic and professional success.
    Maintain regular office hours for student consultations. D. in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
    Demonstrated excellence, or potential for, teaching excellence at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
    Work or educational experience in the area of data science, statistics, modeling, or analytics.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders. Understanding of and experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion issues in STEM and beyond.

    A research program or consulting practice that has the capacity to involve students in industry projects is a plus but not required.
