SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
We have partnered with a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming lives through the power of work. The company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team.

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization's overall financial operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Reconcile and maintain the general ledger, including posting journal entries and reviewing accounts.
Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, providing analysis and recommendations to help control costs.
Coordinate with external auditors and assist in annual financial audits and compliance reviews.
Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Assist with special projects and perform other duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of experience in a related role, non-profit industry experience preferred
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
