    Description
    We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to fill the position of Financial Manager.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong initiative, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.

    The Financial Manager will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and collaborating with other department members to achieve organizational goals.

    Oversee the preparation of financial statements in adherence to business management policies, including posting journal entries, account reconciliations, budgeting, cash management, and workers' comp audits.

    Present financial analysis, long-term cash flow analysis, and P&L reporting solutions.
    Ensure timely delivery of weekly client communications, including cash reports and weekly updates.
    Oversee the creation, review, and approval of budgets, shareholder payroll, and 1099 reports.
    Work directly with management in recording and assessing estate planning, assets purchases, and investments.
    Review the work and accuracy of Senior Staff Accountants (AP/AR, cash receipts, payroll, etc.).
    Assist in ad hoc projects as needed.
    Manage the process of payroll services and oversee associated journal entries.
    Proactively foster and develop professional relationships with client's Trusted Advisors when discussing open matters.
    Qualify annual financial statements for tax return purposes.
    Implement operational best business practices.
    Provide oversight of day-to-day financial management performed by

    Senior Staff Accountant:
    bill pay, revenue tracking, commission reporting, company-specific accounting, and reporting.

    Direct Reports:
    2-10

    Reports To:
    Business Manager or Director

    Additional Responsibilities:
    Oversee ad hoc projects as needed.
    Manage and lead a high-functioning, professional accounting team.
    Ensure team goals and deliverables are consistently met.
    Provide motivation, training, and development of team members for improvement and growth in team and individual career pathing.
    Training and development of Senior and/or Staff Accountants.

    Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    Experience using QuickBooks and Excel.
    Preference given to candidates who excel in fast-paced environments.
    Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact across the organization.
    Extremely detail-oriented to create accurate and timely reports.
    Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and alignment with the company's culture and values.

    Qualifications:
    CPA, CFP, or CMA required.
    Experience managing a staff required.
    Must have experience in partnering with an executive team and have high-level written and oral communication skills.
    Proven track record of outstanding performance in a previous job.
    Experience in family office, entertainment, or legal firms preferred.
