    Description


    As a Program Manager within the Shopping Merchant org, you'll be central to the execution of cross-functional initiatives to build experiences and features that Merchants use to get onto Google, grow their business, and engage with shoppers.

    You drive projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders.

    You work closely with Engineering, Product Management, UX, and Analysts in Merchant Growth Tools and across Merchant Applications and Experience (MAX) teams.


    Overall Responsibilities:


    Successful candidates will be responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring and transfer of projects and processes, continuous improvements across a variety of fields, as well as ad-hoc advisory and guidance for stakeholders on best-practices of execution.


    Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:


    Work with Technical Program Managers, Product Managers, Engineering Team, UX, Analytical leads and other functions to ensure successful delivery on projects planned for the teams.

    Develop and maintain plans/trackers, manage intake processes/bug filing/ tracking, run effective meetings, organize and communicate clearly project status, risks and dependencies to key stakeholders.

    Implement project management tools/processes to streamline Dev velocity
    Skill/Experience/Education

    Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
    (All skills, both technical and soft, required to be successful in the role)
    Skilled in partnering with Product and Eng teams and working in a cross-functional set up, including UX, Analysts, BD, Marketing, Legal, Operations, etc
    Demonstrated communication skills across the varied stakeholder set including communicating both upwards and to the teams
    Understands software product lifecycle and program structuring through phases: Ideation, UX and UXR, Setting Program Objectives, Workstreams, Milestones, Tracking development, Testing, Roll out, etc
    Preferable if TC has prior exposure to Google
    The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $47.00to $52.00an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.

    Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
