    Job Overview:

    Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Certified Surgical Technolgist II (Day shift, M-F) to join our team.

    Responsibilities:

    The surgical technologist (ST) is an integral part of the surgical health care team and functions in the role of scrub person. The Surgical Tech works under the supervision of the registered nurse and surgeon to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.

    Qualifications:

    Education

    High School Diploma / GED

    Certification/Licensure

    Certified Surgical Technologist

    CPR

    Experience

    Minimum 1 year experience with scrub and circulation skills

    Prior experience with sterile technique, infection control, sterilization and disinfection procedures

    Other

    COVID-19 Vaccination required.

    (Pay range for this position is $22.30/hr - $33.45/hr. The hired applicant's placement within the range is based on qualifications, professional experience and education).
