- Collaboration with the Material Vendors, Trade Partners & Clients to develop and update project schedules to ensure all milestones are identified and met.
- Ensure timely ordering, delivery, and storage of materials on the job site.
- Plan and supervise superintendent/foreman activities including determining method of construction, manpower levels, work schedule, control measure compliance and physical resources are available to meet the project objectives.
- Provide on-site project quality control through administrative direction of Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent with weekly meetings and routine job inspections.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and seek opportunities to add new clients.
- Monitor team compliance with Safety Program requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented. Attend relevant courses on safety programs and stay up to date on latest trends.
- Coordinate and lead meetings with key personnel.
- Identify and communicate issues to the Division Manager.
- BS degree in Construction Management or related field or equivalent work experience in construction.
- Ability to read and interpret all construction documents such as geotechnical reports, specifications, and plans.
- OSHA 30 hour certified preferred.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Project) and HCSS Software
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills with an emphasis on building partnerships
- Strong organizational and time management skills, Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Founded in 2008 as a site development company, DRAKE has grown into a company with the ability to perform any job. We currently perform work as both a small General Contractor and a Civil Trade Partner. We pride ourselves on hiring the right people, working with good partners, and doing the right thing for our customers. We are currently looking to add a COMMERCIAL PROJECT MANAGER to our new Proper, Texas location.
The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in construction on large-scale commercial & private development projects. They will be responsible for providing overall project management including the ability to help estimate, contract, and lead team members on assigned projects. This individual will also be comfortable sequencing and coordination with trade partners to ensure overall construction quality.
