    Kreilkamp Trucking is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and a commitment to quality workmanship.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in diesel engines and other vehicle components.
    • Perform scheduled maintenance, including oil changes, brake checks, and other routine services.
    • Repair or replace faulty components such as transmissions, fuel systems, exhaust systems, and cooling systems.
    • Conduct safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet all regulatory requirements.
    • Test vehicles and equipment after repairs to ensure they are functioning properly.
    • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
    • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet service deadlines.
    • Keep the work area clean and organized, following safety protocols and company guidelines.
    • Stay updated with the latest technology and industry best practices.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Certification in diesel mechanics or related field preferred (e.g., ASE Certification).
    • Minimum 2 year of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
    • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
    • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
    • Valid driver's license; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) is a plus.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
