    Position Summary:

    The Department of Computer Science and Engineering in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College invites applications for a adjunct faculty position for Spring semester /8/2024 to 5/1/2024) We are looking for instructors for the following courses:

    • Object-oriented Programming (C++) Tuesday & Thursday 1:45PM-3:20PM
    • Introduction to Programming (Python) Mon, Wed & Friday 1:20PM-2:25PM
    • Computer and Network Security Tuesday & Thursday 8AM-9:35AM
    • Intro to Website Development (HTML & CSS) Monday & Wednesday 4PM-5:35PM.

    We are looking for instructors interested in teaching any of the following courses on an on-going basis:
    • Object-oriented programming (C++)
    • Data structures (taught in Java)
    • Intro to computer programming (Python)
    • Computer architecture / assembly programming
    • Discrete math
    • Database systems design / programming
    • Data mining / machine learning
    • Mobile app development
    • Linux programming
    • Web programming
    • MS Excel and intro to data analysis
    • Intro to Website Development (HTML & CSS)

    Candidates with a master's degree or significant industry experience in computing will be considered, and college-level teaching experience is preferred.
