Job Description

As a Security Officer - Flex Unarmed Foot Rounds in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed patrol officer at a high-end retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will assist shoppers and store teams with courteous customer service, clear communication, and timely incident reporting. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and guests in a high-end retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, stock areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity.

Monitor for suspicious behavior and potential loss prevention concerns, and communicate observations to store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as directed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disturbances and assisting with orderly resolution when appropriate.

Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and participate in shift briefings and/or coordination with law enforcement when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Have 5+ years of security-related experience.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
