    Job Description Job Description Salary: 23hr-28hr DOEAccounting Manager (AC) is responsible for the management and reporting of financial data of an organization.

    Their main duties include preparing financial statements, examining and analyzing a companys accounts and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures.

    The Accounting Manager job is to check over financial statements, monitor company budgets, calculate employee paychecks for each pay period and review and prepare tax obligations.

    Accounting Manager (AC) directs and organizes all general accounting activities and accounting staff while utilizing their knowledge of financial practices to perform important accounting tasks.

    They prepare accounting and financial reports and ensures accurate accounting systems and record keeping. The AC reports directly to the Controller. The AC assists in Accounts Payable process as well as Accounts Receivable efforts.

    Reconciling the companys bank statements and bookkeeping ledgersCompleting analysis of the employee expendituresManaging income and expenditure accountsGenerating the companys financial reports using income and expenditure dataKeeping a check on the companys finances based on financial statusFiling and remitting taxes and other financial obligationsInitiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the companySkills and Qualifications:Experience with accounting software and data entryExcellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Advanced knowledge and experience with spreadsheetsAbility to work independentlyAnalytical skillsremote work#J-18808-Ljbffr
