Responsibilities

JOB STATEMENT:

Coordinate the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·Distribute production schedules or work orders to departments.

·Review documents, such as production schedules, work orders for errors from sales and/or order entry.

·Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, or engineering.

·Confer with establishment personnel to coordinate production or shipping activities and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays.

·Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.

·Keep work area neat and clean.

·Other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

·High school degree required. Four year college degree preferred.

·One to three years previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.

·Regularly required to sit at desk.

·Intermediate computer skills required; Outlook Excel, Access.

·Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.
