Description

At the current time, vacancies exists for PCA/ Paraprofessionals in the Norristown Area School District for the Extended School Year program Summer 2024. These vacancies will be located at the Elementary, Middle and High School level.

Duties:

• Provides instructional and clerical support to teachers
• Supports and assists students with the completion of assigned tasks either individually or in small groups
• Provides verbal and written translation services in support of the educational program at the assigned school
• Performs related duties as required

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or 48 Postsecondary Credits
• (Note: Candidates who do not possess either of the above may request to take a qualifying exam)
• Experience working with children
• Knowledge of community resources and agencies
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong organization skills
• Ability to collaborate with others

Schedule:

Monday- Thursday: July 1 to July 31, 2024

Hours:

Middle/High School: 7:45 am- 12:15 pm

Elementary School: 8:45 am- 1:15 pm
