Description
Production ManagerResponsibilities:
Responsible for the activities of Production Supervisors, Group Leaders, and Production Associates. Oversee and assist the production supervisor and production schedulers in establishing work schedules and following through to completion.
Observe work to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.
Develop or implement production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports to detect production problems.
Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.Prepare and maintain production reports and other paperwork as needed.
Initiate or coordinate inventory or cost control programs.
Conduct training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures or assign training to experienced workers.
Oversee and monitor employees' attendance and hours worked.
Interview, train, evaluate, or discharge staff or resolve personnel grievances.
Participate in ongoing performance management, including but not limited to evaluations, recommendations of wage increases, and necessary corrective action.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, 5S practices, and regulatory and customer requirements.

High School Education or GEDExperience:
One to three years of supervisor-related experienceOther:Excellent interpersonal skills.
