    Description
    Our client is a Canadian company that operates equipment sterilization service centers in both Canada and the US. Their core senior business team works out of a residential location in North Gower, Ontario.

    Our client understands that the success of their business is founded on service excellence.

    The Business Improvement Manager ensures that enterprise business processes are

    improving and transforming and that their assigned corporate goals are being achieved. The position reports to VP of Strategic Growth and Innovation. The Business Improvement Manager is accountable for completing process transformation/improvement projects with measurable improvements.

    Tasks and Responsibilities

    Work with management to facilitate lean/six sigma transformation

    Lead and conduct transformation needs assessments. Identify organizational readiness, catalysis driving change, scope, size, risks, challenges, opportunities, corporate impacts and success indicators

    Lead problem solving efforts improve quality and eliminate waste in all areas of the business

    Identification of Improvement Projects

    Perform reviews and make recommendations to management on potential improvement projects

    Create business cases and project charters for management to determine the strategic direction for processes

    Analyze process workflows to determine the value added or non-value added

    Preparation, planning, execution and lessons learned for improvement projects

    Measure the progress and results from improvement projects

    Ensure maximum positive impact of projects by coaching change agents and management

    Training change agents and management in the use of lean project and root case analysis tools

    Organize lean training and coaching to develop a culture of continuous improvement

    Drive standardization and adoption of best practices across the organization

    Developing processes and tools that encourage knowledge sharing and continuous performance improvements

    Change Impact and Risk Analysis

    Skills and Experience Requirements

    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred), Operations, Industrial, Manufacturing or equivalent education and experience as determined by management

    5 years of proven business / continuous improvement experience

    Lean/Six Sigma Belt certification

    Demonstration of experience in implementing best practices

    1 year of success in managing employees and teams

    Experience in project management; demonstrating successful project completion

    Ability to travel internationally
