General Statement of Responsibilities: The Blending Operator is responsible for safe and quality driven output of batching. Blending Operator is responsible for using raw material to create finished product in adherence to standard manufacturing procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Works in blending room in teams of 2 or 3
• Dumps 50# bags routinely into blender following SAP recipe
• Fills new bags, labels, and pallet stacks for shipment
• Maintains supplies for room and room cleanliness
• Interpret production schedule in chronological order to determine next process order to run and maintain leads on lines to prevent downtime.
• Ability to use a scan gun and computer tablet.
• Enter computer data accurately into SAP.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while also maintaining a hazard free work area.
• Maintain work area in a clean and safe manner.
• Maintain GMPS, PPE, and 5S standards.
• Reports all Accidents and Near-misses immediately.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Organizational & excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding of the terminology of the job.
• Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift
• Basic computer experience.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions.
• 2 years previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous work experience within a food manufacturing and distribution environment preferred.
• Previous experience using SAP preferred.
• Previous experience with scanners/RF guns preferred.
