- Position Purpose: Exemplifies and ensures excellent customer service, directing and overseeing Front End operations in the absence of store management to reach sales and profit goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service within company guidelines and policies.
- Handle emergencies, customer complaints, and employee incidents.
- Maintain knowledge of company policies.
- Supervise sales floor operations and product replenishment.
- Organize displays near checkout areas.
- Ensure a clean and safe store environment.
- Assist other cashiers with equipment issues.
- Operate cash register and handle customer transactions.
- Bag groceries, offer carry-out assistance, and perform various office tasks.
- Complete end-of-day procedures and inventory tasks.
- Other assigned duties.
- Follow company service procedures with demonstrated customer service skills.
- Interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Understand and execute instructions.
- Familiarity with all store positions.
- Ability to work independently.

Job Description: As the primary customer contact, the Person In Charge (PIC) delivers friendly, courteous, and supportive assistance. When Store Manager and Assistant Managers are absent, the PIC takes charge with authority to ensure maximum store efficiency, profitability, and superior customer service. While overseeing the store, mainly at night, the PIC supervises employees and serves as a Cashier-Checker. Duties may include working in various store departments.
