    Job Description:

    The Traveling Med-Surg Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the general, orthopedic, neurology, and spine units.

    This assignment will entail twelve-hour shifts, offering flexibility in scheduling. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering compassionate patient care.


    Requirements:

    • Valid RN license
    • Experience in medicalsurgical nursing preferred
    • BLS and ACLS certifications required
    • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and unit dynamics

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, medication administration, and wound care
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
    • Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition
    • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and selfcare techniques
    • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments and interventions
